Make a Difference Onlus is a non-profit organization founded in 2008 by the Chilver and Paloschi families, with the aim of supporting the education of unprivileged children living on the Eastern Coast of Kenya.

To sustain and give quality education to underprivileged children from the east coast region of Kenya.

To make sure that these children, as they mature into adults, can bear proof to our belief that education is the one true resource that allows a nation to flourish.
BES and Make A Difference Collaboration
We believe that, in order to promote responsible and sustainable development in Africa, it is necessary to help children by offering them new educational and cultural opportunities. With our support, even if a drop in the ocean, we are confident that the children of today can contribute tomorrow to a fairer and more equitable future for Africa. We want to promote primary education for all. This is why the collaboration between the Make a Difference association and BES was born.
BES, a bilingual school in Milan, co-founded by Deborah Chilver, has created a collaboration between her school in Milan and her charity program in Kenya, encouraging an exchange between the students of the Italian school and their African peers. The twinning program was born in 2003 and, since then, the Italian families join the project with an annual contribution of 300 euros that guarantee a primary education to more than 500 children.
