Ongoing Projects
Eco-School Project
Eco-Schools is a growing phenomenon, which encourages young people to engage in their environment by allowing them the opportunity to actively protect it. It starts in the classroom, it expands to the school and eventually fosters change in the community at large.
New Junior High classrooms
To accommodate the needs of our growing school community, we are building a separate block of three classrooms for our Junior High school students.
New Outdoor Playground
A series of outdoor playground equipment has been installed in the school garden along with a large sandpit.
The Learning Hub
The HUB opened in January 2015 and is an ongoing project. The school employs a staff of six teachers and four non teaching staff. It provides an education of excellence to a group of orphan children from the Imani Rehabilitation Centre.
Child Helps Child
The BAPS and BES school community in Milan, Italy have been active supporters of The Make a Difference association since it was founded in 2008.
From sponsored walks, to bake sales, to non school uniform days, to the annual Halloween disco.

Voluntary Work
We welcome education volunteer teachers. Qualified primary and early years teachers that can share their expertise and potentially offer training to our staff.
Food For Mind
Order a Signature Dish and help educate an Orphan.
The renowned restaurant Mes Amis will donate Euro 2 to our educational project when you order their wonderful dish “PASTA DEL MES AMIS” (pasta with sausage and black truffle melted in a flambéed wheel of Parmesan cheese).

Past Projects
The Building of Six Primary classrooms
The fundraising project to raise funds to build an additional six classrooms is now complete.
The St. Francis Choir in Milano
The association Make a Difference (MaD), together with the Saint Vigilius Foundation of Ossana, Trento and the Bilingual European School (BES). We organized a life changing vacation for 20 children from the St. Francis Choir and three staff members to Milan, Italy.
St. Francis School
Our collaboration with the St Francis school in Gede initiated even before the founding of the association Make a Difference in 2008.
St. Dominics School
In 2015 our association began a collaboration with the
St. Dominic's school in Timboni.
